Girl Guides Singapore is excited to launch our Cookie Project 2010.
Introducing the NEW limited edition tins and flavour!
This year's cookie project introduces the limited edition Centenary Celebration tin design with new flavour "Oats and Raisin".
The tin design is inspired from the ribbons on the 100th Anniversary WAGGGS logo. The colours and fluidity evoke the spirit of the movement, ever dynamic, energetic with a celebratory feel.
The cookies come in pairs and are individually wrapped in foil to retain freshness. What's more, they are very yummy, crunchy and best of all - healthy at only 55 calories a piece for the weight conscious!
The Friendship, Excellence and Respect tin editions on sale too!
Back by popular demand, we have the three winning flavours:
-
"Chocolate Crunch", a delicious chocolate cookie made with cornflakes and chocolate chips, without cream
-
"Chocolate Cream," a perennial favourite and
-
"Chocolate Mint," ever-popular
Introduced last year, these tins are presented in attractive and vibrant colours that communicate the values of "Friendship, Excellence and Respect" in conjuction with the inaugural Youth Olympic Games held in singapore in August 2010.
2010 is also a special year for Girl Guides worldwide as this year marks the beginning of our 3-year celebrations leading up to the Centenary celebrations of Girl Guiding in 2012.
Bring out the entrepreneur in our Guides!
With the Cookies project, our Guides potentially learn many useful skills from confidence building to money management and entrepreneurship when they take on the challenge to set goals and sell even more tins each year. Working as part of a team with friends to come up with new ideas and new ways to sell to more people can be even more fun!

The Cookie Project has a long tradition in Girl Guides Singapore as well as internationally in our sister movements. It is our flagship fund-raising event and provides funding to support:
-
Fun, exciting and relevant programmes and training for members
-
Operating expenditure of Guide House and Camp Christine
-
Provision of services to the community as we put into practice our Guide Law and Promise
Get this year's fun patch!
To recognise the hard work of our Guides, all who sell 5 or more tins will each receive this year's Fun Patch which looks like this! Do you like it?
